The ACCHO Knowledge Network is a database and online repository which will highlight HIV research undertaken by African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) researchers and scholars in Ontario, which launched on February 2021. The content of the ACCHO Knowledge Network will focus on the health outcomes and health needs of ACB people, including topics such as HIV testing and prevention, community empowerment and resilience, and social determinants of health.
The goal of the ACCHO Knowledge Network is to facilitate collaboration among researchers and knowledge users with an interest in HIV in ACB communities, to collect and platform ACB-led research, and to create an avenue through which students and emerging researchers can connect directly with potential mentors. The development of the Knowledge Network was supported by the Ontario HIV Treatment Network.
