Purpose and Objectives:

This CIHR Catalyst Grant proposal requests $28,808 CAD to convene a team of researchers and knowledge users who will assess what is known about the relationships between ethnic identity, settlement experiences and HIV-related health behaviours of newcomer and refugee ACBMSM, select and discuss the feasibility of particular resources, programs and services being adapted, and design a CIHR Operating Grant to be submitted Fall 2015 that will focus on preparing, piloting and implementing the adapted resources, programs and services that were selected. The remaining months of the grant period will be spent developing a short report of the assessment and selection activities for knowledge users, as well as a webinar and academic journal article.
