Purpose and Objectives:
To establish a method for developing evidence-based resources for culturally specific interventions in prevention and treatment in immigrant populations. The principle objective is to support interventions with immigrant communities by (1) generating a matrix of the socially, culturally, and politically specific characteristics of those communities generated from the clients themselves, and (2) developing networks of providers, institutions, researchers, and others who are culturally competent in the area of HIV knowledge and care for specific populations
