Description:

1) To identify and describe research on disability and/or rehabilitation in the context of HIV in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) that is being conducted by Canadians. 2) Provide an overview of the current research landscape Identify areas for possible collaboration. 3) Identify gaps in research.

Purpose and Objectives:

1) To create a comprehensive account of Canadian research on HIV and rehabilitation in SSA that is taking place. 2) To identify characteristics of this research. 3) To consider not only north-south lessons but also south-north lessons as part of shared innovation. 4) To foster collaboration among researchers working in this area.
