Research study to show how there are many other factors that influence African and Caribbean women's access to HIV/AIDS information and related services

Purpose and Objectives:

1) To determine the level of awareness and knowledge of HIV/AIDS amongst African and Caribbean women, 2) To determine factors that influenced access to HIV/AIDS information and services amongst African and Caribbean women, 3) To identify and document the type of HIV/AIDS services available for African and Caribbean women, 4) To determine the level of knowledge, awareness, and utilization of HIV/AIDS services by African and Caribbean women, 5) To identify the major issues and barriers faced by service providers who were providing HIV/AIDS services for African and Caribbean women, 6) To use research methodologies which supported the involvement and participation of the target groups throughout the research process.
